1. Our Commitment
OnFire wants everyone to be able to message, organise, buy and sell on OnFire, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, switch access, magnification, captions or other assistive technology.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the W3C, across our websites and apps, and the accessibility requirements of the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882, as implemented in each EU Member State) for the OnFire services it applies to. We treat accessibility as part of how we build and test OnFire, not as a one-off project.
2. What This Statement Covers
This statement applies to:
- onfire.so, our main website, including the Legal Center and blog;
- the OnFire web apps: the OnFire web app at app2.onfire.so, the OnFire web portals at app.onfire.so and admin.onfire.so, and the OnFire Marketplace at sell.onfire.so; and
- the OnFire mobile apps for iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android.
Content that sellers, creators and other users post on OnFire (for example listing photos, videos and descriptions) is written by them. We give them tools to make it accessible, such as image descriptions where available, but we cannot guarantee the accessibility of every piece of user content.
3. Conformance Status
OnFire is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content or apps do not yet fully meet the standard. The known gaps are listed in Section 4, together with what we are doing about them.
4. Known Limitations
These are the problems we know about from our most recent review (30 September 2026). We are working to fix them and will update this list as we do.
4.1. OnFire web app (app2.onfire.so)
- The web app draws its screens on a canvas. Screen readers and some other assistive technologies can only read it once its accessibility mode is turned on: with a screen reader running, choose the “Enable accessibility” button, which is the first item on the page.
- With accessibility mode on, some links and buttons (for example the Terms and Privacy links and the language choices on the welcome screen) cannot yet be reached with the keyboard, and some fields and icon buttons on the sign-in screens have no text label.
- The focus indicator on some buttons is hard to see, and some small grey text on dark backgrounds has low contrast.
- The web app has no page landmarks or “skip to content” mechanism yet.
4.2. iOS and Android apps
- Some icon-only buttons have no text label, so a screen reader (VoiceOver or TalkBack) may announce them only as “button”.
- Some text fields use placeholder text instead of a label, and some images have no text description.
4.3. Video
- Captions and subtitles are not yet available for video posts, stories, live streams or course lessons, in the apps or on the web.
4.4. Colour contrast and forms on the websites
- Some text on onfire.so, sell.onfire.so and the web apps is still below the 4.5:1 contrast ratio, for example text in the animated sections of the onfire.so home page while it fades in, and white text where it sits on the lightest part of the orange header on sell.onfire.so.
- On some web app forms, error messages appear as a pop-up notice and are not yet linked to the field that needs correcting.
5. Getting Help in Another Way
If any part of OnFire is hard for you to use, contact us at [email protected] and we will help you complete the task another way, for example by email, or by sending you information in a format that works for you.
6. Feedback and Contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of OnFire. If you find a barrier that is not listed here, or one of the listed problems stops you from doing something, please tell us:
- Email: [email protected]
- Suggested subject line: “Accessibility feedback: [website or app] – [short description]”, for example “Accessibility feedback: iOS app – unlabelled button in Chats”.
- Where you can, tell us which website or app (and version or device) you were using, the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and any assistive technology you use. None of this is required.
We aim to acknowledge your message promptly and to give you a substantive reply within 10 working days. If a fix will take longer, we will tell you what we plan to do and when.
7. Enforcement (European Union)
If you are in the European Union and you are not satisfied with our reply to your feedback or complaint, you can contact the national authority responsible for enforcing the European Accessibility Act in your EU Member State (often called the market surveillance authority for accessibility of products and services). You can also contact a consumer protection body or a national equality body. Contacting us first is not required, but it is usually the quickest way to get a problem fixed.
Users outside the EU may have rights under their own national accessibility or anti-discrimination laws. Nothing in this statement limits those rights.
8. How This Statement Was Prepared
This statement was prepared on 30 September 2026. It is based on our own assessment: automated testing with axe-core against WCAG 2.2 AA on the websites and web apps, manual keyboard and focus checks, a screen-reader semantics check of the web app, and a review of the iOS and Android app source code.
We review this statement whenever we make a significant change, and at least once a year.
