Live Gigs Seller Terms

For teachers, tutors and coaches who sell live 1:1 video sessions on OnFire Live Gigs.

Version 2026-10-16 Last updated: 16 October 2026

In short: you, not OnFire, provide each lesson. Every session starts with a free 5-minute trial that is not paid. When the buyer proceeds, they pay your price plus a 5% service fee; when the session ends, you receive what you earned less a 10% seller fee, through Stripe. Every session is recorded and kept for 30 days. Teaching children needs an approved background check, and a guardian must stay on camera.

1. About These Terms

These Live Gigs Seller Terms (the "Seller Terms") apply when you offer live 1:1 video sessions on OnFire Live Gigs — for example tutoring, language, music or coding lessons, or coaching. In them, "you" means the seller (the teacher, tutor or coach), "buyer" means the person who books and pays for a session, "learner" means the person being taught (the buyer, or the buyer's child), and "we", "us" and "OnFire" mean the OnFire company you contract with (see below). Live Gigs is available first on the OnFire web app at app.onfire.so.

OnFire provides the marketplace, matching, video calling, payment and safety tools that connect you with buyers. You provide the lesson. The service is supplied by you, as an independent seller acting on your own account, to the buyer; OnFire is not a party to the lesson, does not supervise or direct its content, and does not employ you. Nothing in these Seller Terms makes you an employee, worker, agent or partner of OnFire.

Which company you contract with. If you are in the European Economic Area, your counterparty is OnFire Messenger Ltd., registered in Ireland under company number 796932, and your sessions are priced and paid in euros (EUR). If you are in the United States, your counterparty is OnFire Messenger Inc., a Delaware company, and your sessions are priced and paid in US dollars (USD). Live Gigs supports only these two currencies. The same applies to the Terms of Service edition that governs your account.

How these terms fit with our other documents. These Seller Terms add to, and do not replace:

Acceptance. You accept these Seller Terms in the "Verify to teach" step of Live Gigs, by ticking the confirmation that names this version (2026-10-16), and by going online or accepting a session. We record the version you accepted and when. If we materially change these terms, we will ask you to accept the new version (section 18).

2. Eligibility and Verification

To sell on Live Gigs you must:

  • • Be at least 18 years old, shown by positive evidence of your age (such as the date of birth confirmed during identity verification), and able to enter into a binding contract.
  • • Have an active OnFire account that has not been banned or suspended, and not be subject to sanctions that prevent us or our payment provider from working with you.
  • • Give us and Stripe accurate, current and complete information, and keep it up to date.

2.1 Verify to teach

You can save a draft listing at any time, but you cannot publish a listing or go online until every step of "Verify to teach" is complete:

  • • Payouts. A Stripe Connect account that can receive transfers, opened through Live Gigs, registered with the same OnFire company as your listing currency. Stripe verifies your identity during this step, as described in the KYC Policy (section 7).
  • • Tax details. Your legal name, tax identification number and full address, on a W-9, W-8BEN or DAC7 form (section 14).
  • • Trader confirmation. Your self-certification that you sell as a trader, will pay the tax due on your earnings, will only offer lessons that comply with the law, and accept these Seller Terms (section 15).

Verification is checked again while you are online. If a step stops being satisfied — for example if Stripe restricts your account — you are taken offline and cannot go online again until it is fixed. A session that is already running is allowed to finish. Teaching children needs an additional background check (section 10).

If you sell as a business, the person accepting these terms confirms they have authority to bind that business, and the business is the seller. Keep your account credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account, and the person on camera must be the person shown on your profile.

3. Listings and Pricing

  • • What a listing contains. A listing describes one service: the subject, chosen from the Live Gigs categories (tutoring and classes, and coaching); the audiences you teach (adults, and children with a guardian present); your languages; the levels you teach (beginner, intermediate, advanced); the session lengths you offer (30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes) and your price for each; whether you accept extensions; and a short greeting shown to buyers when you are matched.
  • • Your prices. You set the price for each session length, in your listing currency, between 10.00 and 300.00 per session length. The price of a session is fixed at the moment you are matched; changing your listing afterwards does not change a session already matched. You must not ask for any amount that is not shown in Live Gigs.
  • • Accuracy. Your listing, profile, photo and greeting must be accurate, describe you and the service you actually provide, and be kept current. Do not claim qualifications, experience or results you do not have. Listings and profile text are checked against our content rules before they are published, and may be refused or removed if they break them.
  • • Going online. You go online when you are ready to take sessions, and offline when you are not. Leaving the marketplace is always free.

4. Matching and Ranking

Buyers do not browse and pick a seller. A buyer describes what they need — subject, level, languages, length, budget and goal — and Live Gigs matches them automatically with a seller who is online. This is how it works:

  • • Eligibility filters. You are only considered for a request if, among other things, your listing is in the same subject and currency, offers the requested length at a price within the buyer's budget, serves the requested audience, and you are verified and available. You are never matched with someone you or they have blocked, with an account linked to your own, with a buyer you were matched with in the last 30 minutes, or with a buyer either of you previously marked as not compatible. You can take up to 20 free trials in any rolling 24 hours.
  • • Random sample. From the eligible sellers, a small random sample (currently up to 5) is drawn. Sellers who have been waiting online longer are somewhat more likely to be drawn. There is no "best seller always wins" rule.
  • • Fit score. Each sampled pair is scored for fit. The standard score is a fixed formula that weighs level fit, language fit, your rating and price headroom against the buyer's budget; new sellers with fewer than 3 reviews get a neutral rating so they are not disadvantaged. Matching also uses automated, AI-based scoring. Your listing's title, description, levels, audiences and languages, and the buyer's request (subject, level, languages and goal, plus the fixed reasons from earlier skips), are sent to an AI system ("Jev", provided by TypeSafe AI, a service provider based in the United States) that estimates how well they fit. Account identifiers, display names and your greeting are never sent, and email addresses, phone numbers and links are removed from the text first. If the AI score is unavailable, the standard score is used instead. A pair below the minimum score is never matched. One seller is then picked at random, weighted by score.
  • • What is shown. When the AI score is used, the match shows a percentage; otherwise it shows "Good match". Buyers are never shown how many sellers are online or who else was considered.
  • • Book again. A buyer who has had a session with you can ask for you again directly from their history; that request skips the random sample.
  • • No paid ranking. Nobody can pay to be matched more often. The reasons you give for skipping (section 8) may be used to improve later matches for the same buyer.

More about how we rank and recommend, and about our use of AI, is in the Ranking Parameters, Recommender Systems and AI Transparency notices.

5. Sessions: Knock, Free Trial, Proceed, Extensions and Ending

All sessions are live 1:1 video calls inside OnFire. Video is required: both sides must have a working camera on.

5.1 The knock

When you are matched, you see a knock screen for 30 seconds with the buyer's request. You can accept by pressing "I'm ready", or decline (section 8). If both of you are ready, a short countdown starts and the call opens. If you miss 3 knocks in a row, you are taken offline.

5.2 The free trial

  • • Every session starts with a free trial of 5 minutes. If the same buyer and seller are matched again after an earlier trial, or the buyer books you again, the trial is 1 minute.
  • • The trial is not paid. No money is charged to the buyer and nothing is owed to you for trial time, and trial time does not count towards the paid lesson.
  • • Either side can skip to the next match during the trial. If the trial runs out without the buyer proceeding, the session ends with no charge.
  • • If a camera is off for 30 seconds during the trial, the trial ends with no charge.

5.3 "Let's proceed" and the paid lesson

  • • If the buyer taps "Let's proceed", they are shown the price, the service fee and the minimum charge, agree that the lesson starts immediately, and are charged straight away for the session through Stripe.
  • • The paid lesson starts when the payment succeeds, and runs for the length that was booked. If the payment is declined or not completed within 2 minutes, the session ends and nothing is charged.
  • • Both sides see a countdown to the end of the lesson, with a warning in the last minute. At the scheduled end there is a 60-second unbilled wrap-up, after which the call ends automatically.
  • • The lesson clock does not pause if someone loses connection or closes the app. The lesson link stays open, so either side can rejoin until the scheduled end.
  • • You must keep your camera on during a paid lesson. Time your camera is off beyond a total of 1 minute is not billed to the buyer.

5.4 Extensions

  • • From 10 minutes before the end, the buyer can ask for more time: 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, at the same rate as the lesson, up to 60 extra minutes and 2 requests per session. You can switch extensions off for a listing.
  • • The buyer sees the price and pays for the extension first. You are then shown the offer, with what you would receive, and have 30 seconds to accept or decline. No answer counts as declining. Declining has no penalty.
  • • If you accept, the end of the lesson moves back by the extra minutes. If you decline, or the offer expires, the buyer is refunded the extension in full, including its service fee.

5.5 How a session ends

What you are paid depends on how the paid lesson ended. "Your lesson price" means your price for the booked length, and "the minimum charge" is 25% of your lesson price.

How the paid lesson endedThe part of your lesson price you earn
It ran to the scheduled endAll of it
The buyer pressed "End" earlyAll of it
The buyer left and did not come back, and you stayed until the end, or pressed "Buyer didn't return" (available 10 minutes after they left); or nobody was in the call for 5 minutesThe share for the time that passed, but never less than the minimum charge
You ended the lesson early, or you left and did not come back within 5 minutes while the buyer stayedThe share for the time you delivered, with no minimum; the buyer's service fee is refunded to them
A technical failure on OnFire's side ended the lessonThe share for the time you delivered, with no minimum; the buyer's service fee is refunded to them
The session was reported, or ended by OnFire for a safety or account reasonDecided through moderation (section 13)

"The share for the time" is your lesson price multiplied by the billable time and divided by the booked time, rounded down to the cent. In every row, time your camera was off beyond a total of 1 minute is not billable and is deducted from what you earn. Extension time is paid for the time actually used, with no separate minimum. Whatever part of the lesson price you do not earn is refunded to the buyer.

6. Fees

Buyer service fee: 5%

The buyer pays a service fee of 5% of your lesson price (at least 0.50 in the session currency) on top of your price. It is OnFire's, it does not form part of your earnings, and it is shown to the buyer before they pay. It is not refunded to the buyer except where the session ended because of you or because of OnFire, or nothing was delivered.

Seller fee: 10%

OnFire deducts a seller fee of 10% of the part of your lesson price you earn (rounded down to the cent), and of each extension you earn. Nothing is deducted for free trials, and we charge nothing to pay you out. Stripe may charge you for services it provides under its own agreement with you (for example currency conversion), which Stripe discloses to you.

Example

A 60-minute lesson priced at 40.00 that runs to the end: the buyer pays 42.00 (40.00 plus a 2.00 service fee). You receive 36.00 (40.00 less a 4.00 seller fee). OnFire keeps 6.00, out of which it pays Stripe's processing costs.

Skips

Extra skips beyond your free daily skips are bought with OnFire credits (section 8).

Fee changes

We give you at least 30 days' notice, by email and in the app, before introducing a fee or increasing a fee that affects you. A change never applies to a session matched before it takes effect.

Your earnings for a session are the part of your lesson price (and of any extensions) you earn under section 5.5, less the 10% seller fee. The app shows this breakdown for each session. OnFire's fees may include VAT where it applies.

7. Payments, Payouts, Refunds and Chargebacks

7.1 Stripe

Payment processing and payouts for Live Gigs are provided by Stripe. To be paid you must open a Stripe Connect account through Live Gigs and complete Stripe's identity and business verification. Stripe performs that verification and holds those records, as described in the KYC Policy. By opening the account you agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Services Agreement (together, the "Stripe Services Agreement"), as Stripe may modify it from time to time. As a condition of OnFire enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide OnFire accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorise OnFire to share it, and transaction information related to your use of Stripe's services, with Stripe. Stripe Connect is the only way to be paid for a Live Gigs session. Your Stripe account must be registered with the same OnFire company as your listing currency; if it is not, contact support and we will help you move it.

7.2 Buyer payments

Buyers must save a payment method before they can search. When the buyer taps "Let's proceed", OnFire charges them your lesson price plus the service fee through Stripe; an extension is charged the same way when the buyer asks for it. You authorise OnFire to collect payment from buyers for your sessions, to refund buyers in the circumstances these Seller Terms describe, and to deduct from your earnings the amounts these terms allow.

7.3 When you are paid

  • • When a session ends, it is settled: the buyer is refunded whatever part of the lesson price you did not earn, and your earnings are transferred to your Stripe account. Settlement normally happens within minutes of the session ending.
  • • Stripe then pays your Stripe balance to your bank account on its own schedule, which depends on your country and bank.
  • • Transfers are possible only while your Stripe account can receive them. If Stripe restricts or disables your account, transfers wait until the issue is resolved with Stripe.

7.4 Holds

We hold settlement of a session, so that neither the buyer's refund nor your transfer is made, while: the session has been reported and is waiting for a moderator (section 13); the buyer's bank has opened a dispute on the payment; the session was ended by OnFire for a safety or account reason; or the law, a court or an authority requires it. We may also hold or delay a transfer where we reasonably suspect fraud or a serious breach of these terms. We tell you why, and we release the funds once the reason no longer applies.

7.5 Refunds, the minimum charge and chargebacks

  • • Refunds to buyers follow section 5.5 and go back to the original payment method. If a session ends because of you or a technical failure on OnFire's side, the buyer is refunded the part of the lesson you did not deliver and their service fee, and you are paid only for the time you delivered.
  • • The minimum charge (25% of your lesson price) applies only once the paid lesson has started and the buyer is the reason it ended early, including a disconnection the buyer does not come back from. It pays for your time being held after the free trial. It is never refunded to the buyer in those cases.
  • • Chargebacks. If the buyer's bank opens a dispute before the session is settled, your transfer for that session is held until the dispute is closed. We respond to disputes using the session's records, which may include its recording. In the current version of Live Gigs, OnFire bears the cost of chargebacks and does not reclaim a transfer already made to you because a dispute was lost, unless we reasonably believe you took part in fraud or collusion, in which case we may recover the amount from you, including by deducting it from future earnings.
  • • Amounts paid in error. If we transfer more to you than these terms allow, we may recover the difference from future earnings.

8. Skips and Declines

  • • Free skips. As a seller you have 3 free skips per day, which reset at midnight in your time zone (buyers have 5). A skip is used when you decline a knock with "Not now", skip to the next match during the free trial, or end a free trial yourself. After 2 missed knocks in a day, each further missed knock also uses a skip.
  • • Buying skips. When your free skips are used up you can buy packs of skips with OnFire credits (currently 5 skips for 100 credits, 10 for 180, or 25 for 400). Bought skips do not expire, but they are not refundable or transferable and are lost if your account is closed. Without a skip you can still end a free trial, but you cannot take new matches until your skips reset or you buy more.
  • • Free declines. Declining a knock because your camera is unavailable or your line is busy does not use a skip and does not count against you; it takes you offline so you are not matched again until you are ready.
  • • Never a skip. Going offline, a trial that runs out, a session the server ends (for example a lost connection or a camera that stays off), and a report never use a skip. If you go offline during a knock, you have to wait 5 minutes before going online again.
  • • Reasons. After a skip you pick a reason from a fixed list before your next match. Reasons are private: the other person only sees "Not compatible", and you will not be matched with each other for that subject again. Reasons are used to improve matching, and a pattern of "rude or unprofessional" reasons about the same user from several people may be reviewed by moderation.

9. Recordings and Privacy

Every Live Gigs session is recorded by default, including the free trial and children's sessions.

Both sides are told before and during the session: in the listing and request steps, on the knock screen, and by a "Recorded" badge in the call. By going online you agree that your sessions are recorded.

If recording fails or stops, the session carries on.

  • • Why. Recordings are used for safety, to handle reports and moderation, to resolve payment disputes and chargebacks, and to support you and the buyer.
  • • Where and who. Recordings are stored privately in OnFire's storage, never at a public address. Only authorised OnFire staff can open them, and each access is logged. Recordings are not shared with you or the buyer.
  • • How long. Recordings are kept for 30 days after the session and then deleted, except that a recording is kept for as long as a report, dispute or review about that session is open, or longer where the law requires it.
  • • Your own recordings. You must not record, screenshot or stream a session by any other means.
  • • Buyer data. You receive what you need to teach the learner. Use it only to provide the session and meet your legal duties, keep it secure, and do not use it for marketing unless the buyer has agreed.

How we process recordings and your other personal data, and your rights, are set out in the Privacy Policy — United States or Europe.

10. Children's Sessions

Only an adult can book on Live Gigs. A parent or guardian can book a session for a child; the child is never an account holder and is identified only by a first name. These rules sit alongside our Child Safety Policy and Age Suitability Policy.

10.1 Background check

To offer sessions to children, your listing must include the children's audience and you must hold an approved background check (a DBS check or your country's equivalent) on top of Verify to teach. An approval is valid for 1 year. Uploading a background check in the app is not yet available: once you are verified, email [email protected] to start one. Until your background check is approved, you will not be matched with any child's session. We may suspend your eligibility for children's sessions while a child-safety report about you is reviewed.

10.2 A guardian must be present

  • • The buyer confirms that they are the child's parent or guardian and will stay on camera for the whole session. Children's sessions are clearly labelled on the knock and in the call.
  • • If the guardian leaves the camera, press "Guardian left the camera". You can end the session at once, or give the guardian 60 seconds to come back; if they do not, the session ends.
  • • A session ended because the guardian was absent is treated as ended by the buyer: before payment nothing is charged; during a paid lesson you earn the share for the time that passed, but never less than the minimum charge. It never uses a skip. Repeated guardian absence can lead to the buyer losing the ability to book children's sessions.

10.3 A child in an adult session

If a child appears to be taking part in a session booked for an adult, you must end the session immediately using "A child is taking part". This never uses a skip. A high-priority report goes to our moderation team so the buyer's account can be checked. Before payment, nothing is charged. During a paid lesson, the payment is held for the moderator to decide; if no decision is made within 5 days, the session is settled as if you had ended it at that moment, so you are paid for the time you delivered.

11. Conduct and Prohibited Services

In addition to everything the Acceptable Use Policy and the Community Guidelines prohibit, as a seller you must not:

  • • Ask for or accept payment for a Live Gigs session, or for a session with a buyer you met on Live Gigs, outside OnFire, or share or ask for contact details to arrange lessons or payment off the platform and avoid OnFire's fees.
  • • Record, screenshot or stream a session other than through OnFire's own recording.
  • • Offer a service outside the subject of your listing, a service that is unlawful where you or the buyer are, or a service that the law allows only people holding a licence, registration or qualification you do not hold.
  • • Let anyone else appear in your place, or misrepresent who you are, your qualifications or your service.
  • • Show or share nudity, sexual content, violence or graphic content, or harass, threaten, bully or discriminate unlawfully against a buyer or learner.
  • • Contact a child you met through Live Gigs outside a session, or teach a child without the guardian present.
  • • Book your own sessions, use linked or fake accounts, or get around skips, trial limits, matching or fees.
  • • Manipulate reviews (section 12), or file false reports.

Breach of these rules may lead to the session being ended, payouts being held or withheld under section 7.4, listings being removed, and your account being suspended or closed (section 13).

12. Reviews

  • • After a paid session, the buyer can review you and you can review the buyer, within 7 days of the session. Each side leaves one review: 1 to 5 stars, with optional text of up to 1,000 characters. A review cannot be changed after it is submitted.
  • • Reviews are double-blind: neither side sees the other's review until both have submitted, or the 7 days have passed. Revealed reviews, and your average rating and number of reviews, appear on your public profile.
  • • Reviews must be honest, based on the actual session, and follow the Community Guidelines. Review text is checked against our content rules.
  • • You must not offer or give anything in exchange for a review or for changing or withholding one, review yourself through another account, pressure or threaten a buyer over a review, or use a review or a report to retaliate.
  • • A review on a session with an open report is hidden until the report is resolved. We may remove a review that breaches these rules or the law; we do not remove or alter a genuine review because it is negative. If you believe a review about you breaches these rules, report it.
  • • Your rating is one of the factors in the standard fit score (section 4).

13. Reports, Moderation, Suspension and Appeals

13.1 Reports

You and the buyer can report each other at any time — from the knock screen, during the call, after the session and from your history. Reporting is always free and never uses a skip. Reports go to OnFire's moderation team. The reported person is not told who reported them. Some reports, such as child safety, sexual content, graphic violence or a request to pay outside OnFire, end the session immediately. A report also marks you as not compatible with that person, and you can block them. Reports are handled under our Notice and Action process. Repeatedly filing reports that are dismissed can cost you a skip when you leave a session by reporting.

13.2 Reported paid sessions

If a paid session is reported, settlement waits for a moderator, who can decide that you are paid in full, in part or not at all, and that the buyer is refunded accordingly. If no decision is made within 5 days, the session is settled by default: if the buyer reported you for child safety, sexual content, graphic violence or a request to pay outside OnFire, the buyer is refunded your full lesson price; otherwise it is settled as if the person who reported had ended the session at the moment of the report. You can contact support if you disagree with the outcome.

13.3 Suspension and termination

We may end a session, remove a listing, take you offline, hold payouts as described in section 7.4, withdraw your eligibility for children's sessions, restrict your selling, or suspend or close your account, where you breach these Seller Terms or the documents they refer to, your listing or conduct is unlawful, fraudulent or unsafe, you lose a verification your selling depends on (including your Stripe account or background check), or the law, a court or an authority requires it. When we do, we give you a statement of reasons as described in our Statement of Reasons notice. The measures available to us, which decisions are made by a person, what we tell you and when, and how to ask us to look again are set out in section 3 of the Business User Terms; you can also use our internal complaint-handling system and mediation, described in Complaints and Mediation.

You can stop selling at any time by going offline and removing your listings. Sections 5 to 7, 9, 12 and 16 continue to apply to sessions held before termination, and to any amounts you owe us or we owe you.

13.4 If we pause Live Gigs

We may pause Live Gigs, for everyone or for some users or regions, at any time — for example for safety, legal or technical reasons. While it is paused, buyers cannot make new requests and sellers cannot go online. Sessions already running finish normally and are settled under these terms.

14. Taxes and Reporting (DAC7)

14.1 Tax details

Before you go online you must give us, in the app, your legal name (or your business's registered name), your tax identification number, your VAT number if you are registered for VAT, and your full address, on one of these forms:

  • • W-9 if you are a United States person, with your SSN or EIN;
  • • W-8BEN if you are not a United States person; or
  • • DAC7 for seller reporting in the European Union, with your national tax number.

The information must be true, complete and yours (or your business's), and you must update it if it changes. Your tax identification number is stored encrypted, is shown back to you only in masked form, and can be seen only by OnFire's compliance team. We may pause your selling while your tax details are missing or incomplete.

14.2 Reporting to tax authorities

Online platforms must report information about their sellers to tax authorities. We report your information as the law requires: in the European Union under Council Directive (EU) 2021/514 ("DAC7"), and in the United States under US information-reporting rules. This may include your identity, tax identification number, address, the payouts you received, the fees we deducted and the number of sessions, and we may provide you with a copy. The Privacy Policy explains this processing.

14.3 Your own taxes

You are responsible for reporting and paying all income tax, VAT, sales tax and other taxes due on your Live Gigs earnings, and for any registration that requires. OnFire's fees may include VAT where it applies. OnFire does not provide tax advice.

15. Trader Status and Consumer Rights

Under Article 30 of the EU Digital Services Act, online marketplaces must collect information from the traders who sell on them, and a self-certification that they will only offer products and services that comply with the law. In the "Verify to teach" step you declare that:

  • • you offer lessons on Live Gigs as a trader: you provide a service for payment, on your own account;
  • • you will declare and pay any tax due on what you earn, including VAT where it applies;
  • • you will only offer lessons that follow the laws that apply to them; and
  • • you accept these Seller Terms, in the version shown.

We record the date of your confirmation and the version of these Seller Terms you accepted. We may show buyers the trader information the law requires us to make available.

Consumer rights. Because you sell as a trader, a buyer who is a consumer may have rights against you under consumer law, and you, not OnFire, are the provider of the lesson to the buyer. When the buyer taps "Let's proceed" they expressly agree that the lesson starts immediately; where consumer law gives a right to withdraw from a service contract, that agreement is designed to reflect the rules for services that begin at the consumer's request. Refunds through Live Gigs (section 5.5) do not limit any right a buyer has under the law. More about your position as a business user is in the Business User Terms.

16. Liability and Indemnity

Your responsibility. You are responsible for your listings, the lessons you provide and their content, your conduct in sessions, your compliance with the law and with these Seller Terms, and your taxes. OnFire does not verify your qualifications, does not supervise lessons, and does not guarantee the conduct of sellers, buyers or learners, or any learning outcome.

Our liability. The disclaimers and limits of liability in the Terms of Service edition that applies to you (United States, section 10; Europe, section 10) apply to Live Gigs. In addition, OnFire is not liable for the acts or omissions of buyers or learners, for sessions that are not matched, for interruptions to video calls or to matching, or for a pause under section 13.4.

Indemnity. To the extent the law allows, you will indemnify and hold harmless OnFire, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents against any claims, damages, losses, fines, penalties and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your listings; a lesson you provide, including any harm suffered by a buyer, a learner or anyone else; your breach of these Seller Terms or of the law, including consumer, tax, child-protection and anti-discrimination law; or taxes you owe. This is in addition to the indemnity in the Terms of Service.

Nothing in these Seller Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Seller Terms are governed by the same law, and disputes about them are resolved in the same way, as the Terms of Service edition that applies to you: the law of the State of Delaware, with the courts and arbitration arrangements described in section 13 of the United States edition, if your counterparty is OnFire Messenger Inc.; or the law of Ireland, with the courts described in section 13 of the European edition, if your counterparty is OnFire Messenger Ltd. Business users can also use our internal complaint-handling system and mediation, described in Complaints and Mediation. Nothing in these Seller Terms removes a right you have under law that cannot be removed by agreement.

Disputes between you and a buyer about a lesson are between you and the buyer. Our refund, report and moderation processes are there to help resolve them, but they do not replace either party's legal rights.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may change these Seller Terms, for example to reflect changes to Live Gigs, our fees or the law. Each version has a version identifier, shown at the top of this page; the current version is 2026-10-16. We give you at least 30 days' notice of a change, by email and in the app, and longer where the change means you have to alter how you sell. You may stop selling before the change takes effect. Changes are not retroactive and do not affect sessions matched before they take effect. We act on shorter notice only where the law requires it or where an immediate change is needed to deal with fraud or a similar security risk. Section 2.2 of the Business User Terms sets out these commitments in full. After a material change, we will ask you to accept the new version before you go online again, and we record the version you accept.
